Meditation
The purpose of meditation is to take time out of your usual routine, slow down and move into stillness and into silence. Rather than feeling you need to ‘stop’ your mind from thinking…meditation helps us get beyond the thinking, analytical mind. With practice we are all capable of doing this.
The benefits of meditation can include; an increased sense of wellbeing, an ability to handle day to day stresses more easily, improved learning ability, improved concentration and memory, increased intuition and creativity, mental and physical relaxation (a very positive support in times of grief, loss, trauma and illness), a reduction of fears and phobias, a more positive attitude towards life, better sleep, improved confidence, self-esteem and self-discipline, a reduction in blood pressure.
1 to 1 sessions
Available in Byron Bay or online over Zoom, these sessions will help you prepare your body to sit in meditation in a supportive way and practice techniques that will help you grow discipline and confidently build your own practice.
group sessions
Available in Byron Bay or online over Zoom, these are ideal if you have some friends you would like to practice with and enjoy learning meditation in small groups.
